Time to add more letters to my letter of the week resources, for preschool classes. This week I am adding Letter B activities and crafts. Here is the letter A resources.
I have gathered a listof different letter B activities from crafts, math, letter, recipes, and fineand gross motor skills.
The preschool room I worked in did 2 craft activities a day and one recipe a week. The kids loved to cook and eat what they made.

Buttons, beads, or beads – Use them to count and create patternswith
Count, sort by size and create patterns with bugs or anyother B item
Physical Activities – Fine and Gross Motor
Act like a bear, beaver, bobcat, bird, butterfly, bee or a bug-Pretend you are different animal walk and make sounds like them.
Build with blocks or boxes or both – Have them create tall buildingsor other items
Play with a ball, throw, kick or bounce a ball, don’t forgetbaseball or basketball too.
Bounce small bouncy balls and watch them run and chase them.
Be a bridge – have them take turns being a bridge andletting the other kids crawl under. If too big have two pair together and makea standing bridge with their arms.
Beans – Scoop beans or use tongs to pick up and sort beans
Beads – string beans on a string or pipe cleaner. Scoop beansand sort by colors.
Build a bridge – use Legos, block or boxes and build a bridge.
Dress and up dress baby – have clothes with different fasteners,button, Velcro, or snaps
Blow, chase, and catch bubbles
Balloon Ball – hit balloon back and forth
Letter B Alphabet Activities
Printable of Letter B Words – Great for circle time to introduce words that start with B, such as alligator, ant, apple, anteater, alphabet, aardvark, animal, arrow, angel, and more. Let them try to come up with ideas.
Bring a Letter B Item- Have the kids bring a letter B itemto school (with parents approval of course) and share. If they can’t bring theitem remind them they could bring a photo of the item instead.
Playdoh Letter Mat- Print out both uppercase and lowercaselarge on a piece of paper and form the letters with the playdoh
Loose Parts Letter Tracing – Print out large letters and usedifferent items to cover the shape of the letters like flat marbles, beans, bottle caps, pompoms, pony beads, etc. (warning smallparts)
